Curtis Merle Quigg, 73, CMR 8 retired RR Donnelly & Sons employee died at 12:55 a.m. today after being stricken in his home. He had farmed in the Crawfordsville area and was a member of the Gravely Run friends Church and K of P Lodge at New Market. Born northeast of Crawfordsville on October 22, 1899, he was a son of Francis and Tacy Johnson Quigg. He was married to Faye Crisp Jan 31, 1924. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Wayne of New Market; three daughters, Mrs. John Hopkins of Mace; Mrs. Richard Cord of CMR 8 and Mrs. Wayne Florey of Rt 5, Crawfordsville; a brother, Clifford of Rt 5, Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hymer of Roachdale; Mrs. Josie Sorrels of Deers Mill and Rena Quigg of Rt 5 Crawfordsville and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Fairfield. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home here with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. - kbz
